I first met Melody through another support group, and we later connected over drinks and dinner. Through her, I came to know about HopeHerd — a warm, supportive space where widows with young children can gather every month to chat, share, and simply spend time together.

At first, my son was a little hesitant to join. But after attending a few gatherings, he started to enjoy himself — swimming, playing soccer, and making new friends. One of our favourite memories was the Mother’s Day event, where the kids got to make bracelets and take part in other fun activities. He had such a great time, and seeing him happy meant so much to me.

HopeHerd has helped me open up and widen my circle. I’ve met more wonderful ladies who truly understand what this journey is like. It’s comforting to know we’re not alone — and I’m so grateful to melody for bringing us together.
