“I no longer feel isolated in this unwilling journey. Instead, I feel seen, heard, and supported.”

The monthly support group meetings have been a safe and healing space for me. Being able to express exactly how I felt—especially to another widow who truly understands—without fear of judgment has brought great comfort. I no longer feel isolated in this unwilling journey. Instead, I feel seen, heard, and supported. It has been incredibly encouraging to witness the growth and resilience of other widows in the group. Their stories give me hope, and I look forward to learning from them. These gatherings have also given me the opportunity to share my experiences with women who are just beginning this journey, offering them comfort and assurance that they are not alone.
Children are warmly welcomed, and through play and shared experiences, they form their own special bonds and support network as they grow. I truly believe these support groups are essential in helping us adjust to our new roles and feel whole again.
